Christine’s Visit – Part 6

Harry Potter day! On Thursday we visited the Warner Brothers’ ‘Making of Harry Potter’ studio tour at Leavesden Studios. It was much the same as last time Andre and I visited with Michelle, except everything had Christmas decorations and props added! The Great Hall was decked out in wreaths and trees, the tables were laid with a Christmas meal and christmas crackers; the Gryffindor common room had a Christmas tree, Christmas cards and Christmas snacks on the table; the boys’ dormitory had tinsel and Christmas cards put up; the Burrow’s table was laid with the Christmas meal; there was a station where you could feel the different types of synthetic snow used in filming the movies and last but definitely not least, the Hogwarts castle was covered in snow.

We decided to have an early birthday celebration for Christine in the evening, so for dinner we had take-away chinese delivered at home and watched the first episode of the new season of Sherlock. For dessert were Harry-Potter themed cupcakes which I bought but decorated myself.
